The group will be led by Nigel Sealey (LCSW):

I am a licensed clinical social worker (LMSW) based in New York City who works with individuals and couples. I specialize in working with individuals and couples who have trauma histories. My interest in starting this group came after working with Afro Caribbean and Afro Caribbean Americans and recognizing the unique upbringing and challenges of integrating Caribbean culture inside of an American landscape.

My style is warm, empathic, and curious with a sense of humor. I strive to ensure that clients feel safe and understood while exploring issues sensitively and deeply. I combine liberation perspective, narrative and relational therapies with other evidence based practices to help clients clarify feelings, achieve goals and begin thriving.
